Dear students,
Biomedical technology is a comprehensive field that encompasses the applications of technological advancements in the medical field. As a program, our main goal is to provide our students with a comprehensive education on the design, production, operation, maintenance/repair, and calibration of medical devices, systems, and machines that support the human body. Additionally, in conjunction with the 3+1 curriculum system implemented at our university, our students spend one semester entirely engaged in field internships. Through this approach, our students have the opportunity to directly engage with the industry, gain practical experience, and showcase their skills alongside their comprehensive theoretical education.
Recent years have brought about pandemics that have affected not only our country but the entire world, highlighting the need for personnel working in the field of biomedical. The heavy reliance on the importation of medical devices in our country necessitates a reduction in foreign dependency, leading to a growing demand for biomedical technicians in hospitals and companies involved in medical device manufacturing, sales, maintenance, and repair. In this context, our program aims to train qualified and industry-immersed biomedical technicians through theoretical and practical education.
