The biomedical field is a very comprehensive and important sector that enables the integration of technological developments into medicine and health services. As the Biomedical Device Technology program, we aim to provide our students with in-depth training in basic areas such as the design, production, operation, maintenance, repair and calibration of medical devices. In addition, with the 3+1 curriculum system implemented at our university, our students gain practical experience by doing internships in the field for a semester. In this way, our students have the opportunity to develop themselves professionally by combining their theoretical knowledge with applications in the sector.
The epidemics experienced worldwide in recent years have clearly revealed that the need for qualified personnel working in the biomedical field has increased. A large part of the medical devices in our country are imported, which increases external dependency. In this context, hospitals and companies in the fields of medical device production, sales, maintenance and repair are increasing their need for biomedical technicians every day. With the theoretical and practical training we provide in our program, we aim to train biomedical technicians who are qualified for the sector and can play an active role in the business world.
Our goal is to train our graduates as strong professionals not only in theoretical knowledge but also in practical applications in the sector. We will be very happy to see you among our graduates currently working in the biomedical sector.
