Purpose of the Program

As the Civil Aviation Cabin Services program, our aim is to train qualified cabin crew members who can meet the demand of aviation sector which is growing at an accelerated pace in the world and in our country.

Program Objective

The aim of the Civil Aviation Cabin Services Program is to train the personnel who know the aviation sector and its relationship with other sectors, very well know the duties and responsibilities of a flight attendant, are equipped with the knowledge on vital matters such as safety procedures, emergency rules, team resource management and first aid rules, have advanced security awareness and service mindset.

Who Can Apply?

To be a flight attendant provides you with an opportunity to travel all around Turkey and the rest of the world while working. It also offers you the chance to earn a salary that could improve your standard of living. In order to obtain these working conditions, you must have physiological competencies that will not interfere with flight. Therefore, the special conditions brought by the civil aviation sector for the flight attendant profession are sought in student admission to the program. Before choosing our program, the relevant article of the preference guide (see 49) should be carefully examined.

According to the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) Guide, the conditions required for the enrollment of the students who are placed in the Civil Aviation Cabin Services Associate Degree Program are as follows:

  1. No criminal record or criminal archive record.
  2. For women, to have a height between 160 cm and 180 cm (weight is at most 5 kilograms more or 15 kilograms less than the last two digits of the value expressed in centimeters).
  3. For men, having a height between 170-190 cm (weight is at most 5 kilograms more or 15 kilograms less than the last two digits of the value expressed in centimeters).
  4. Health status to be suitable for flight (students are required to obtain a report from the health institutions authorized by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation, indicating that their health is suitable for flight. Click for authorized health institutions.)
  5. When the flight attendant uniform is worn, tattoos, scars, etc. should not be visible.

Fields of Study

Our students, who have been trained with the awareness of the sectoral standards in aviation, can obtain job opportunities in various fields of the civil aviation sector such as ground services, operations, air cargo. They may also take the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) to continue their education in various undergraduate programs.
