General Information About the Program: First and Emergency Aid Technicians are assistant personnel who have received 2-year associate degree education and can perform important interventions in ambulances or emergency health vehicles in the delivery of Emergency Health Services in the pre-hospital period and have the authority to administer treatment in accordance with the flow charts determined in the absence of a physician.
Aim: The aim of Gedik Vocational School First and Emergency Aid Program is to be able to identify and solve health problems in the best way possible in pre-hospital emergency health services, to provide basic and advanced life support to the sick and injured, to recognize all kinds of system trauma and to make the appropriate emergency approach; It is to train qualified health technicians who can work in cooperation with the team, who ensure that the patients or injured who have their first interventions reach the hospitals safely by ambulance.
Objective: We aim to train the students of Gedik University Gedik Vocational School First and Emergency Aid Program as individuals who have the necessary professional competencies in their fields at international standards.
