- WE PARTICIPATED IN THE 3RD ECONOMIC HISTORY CONGRESS
Asst. Prof. Ergül BALLI, the Head of the Department of International Trade at our University, attended the 3rd Economic History Congress held on April 25-27, 2019, in Izmir. She presented a joint paper, co-authored with Asst. Prof. Murat KORALTÜRK from Marmara University, titled “Competition and Debates between Leather Shoe Producers and Rubber Shoe Manufacturers and Importers in the Context of Protectionism-Statism in the 1930s”.

Asst. Prof. Ergül BALLI and Lecturer Esra İŞBİLEN DURU from our University’s Vocational School attended the 2nd Business History Conference held on March 21, 2019, at Marmara University. They presented a paper titled “A Slice from Turkish Financial History: The Commercial and Social Aspect of Branch Banking in the 1940s in the Light of Ziraat Bank Inspection Reports”.
