Graphic Design

The aim of the program is to train highly creative designers who can solve graphic design-related problems quickly. Students in the program receive education and training to gain practical skills in visual communication design. Through both theoretical and applied training, students will develop a strong general knowledge base and learn to utilize their personal abilities to an advanced level. They will acquire the knowledge and skills to assess themselves critically. The program covers essential aspects of computer hardware, and the main software applications used in design are Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Flash, and InDesign.

Graduates of this program, with the title “designer,” have various job opportunities in sectors such as magazines, newspapers, television channels, publishing houses, printing houses, advertising agencies, photo agencies, graphic design teaching, and graphic departments of corporate companies, encompassing a broad spectrum.

The primary objective of this program is to cultivate qualified professionals and managers who are proficient in visual communication language and possess a good command of foreign languages. These professionals will be well-prepared to work in the advertising industry and the communication sector.

After Graduation

Upon graduation from the Graphic Design program, students can work as graphic technicians or graphic designers in various fields such as the press industry (newspapers, magazines, television, radio), web design companies, public relations and promotion departments of all companies, and printing businesses.

Graphic design emerged with industrialization and modernization, especially after the discovery of photography. The advent of newspapers highlighted the importance of advertising and promotion, creating a market for graphic design. Graphic design has links with many other disciplines, such as architecture, interior design, art direction, communication design, industrial design, marketing relations, web design, typography, motion graphics, information design, interface design, photography, and desktop publishing. It is one of the rapidly growing job sectors, especially in developing countries.
