Program Learning Outcomes

  1. Knows the medical and radiological terminology and uses it.
  2. Communicates with patients, patient’s relatives and hospital staff.
  3. Acts on awareness of professional duty, authority and responsibilities and obeys the professional ethical rules.
  4. May apply the basic principles of first aid.
  5. Has basic knowledge about human anatomy, physiology and radiological anatomy.
  6. Take precautions according to work and radiation safety and radiation protection rules and applies the rules.
  7. Knows the components and working principles of radiology, nuclear medicine and radiotherapy equipment, how use the devices in accordance with the instructions for use.
  8. Performs the radiology and nuclear medicine imaging in accordance with the procedures.
  9. Evaluates the quality of the images which are obtained via radiology and nuclear medicine devices and takes the precaution to cover the quality, if necessary.
  10. Understands the physiology and anatomic structure in the image taken by radiology and nuclear medicine devices.
  11. Applies the radiotherapy which is planned by medical physicist to the patient.
  12. Has the competence to do research, obtaining, evaulating and applying new knowlodge on its field and by educating itself continiously, it has the principle of life-long learning.
