About MEDEK
The Vocational Education Evaluation and Accreditation Association (MEDEK) was established in 2021 with the support and encouragement of the Higher Education Council (YÖK) in line with Turkey’s strategic development plans, aiming to contribute to the qualified workforce and improve the qualifications of Vocational School programs and their graduates.
In 2023, the Association was authorized by the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK) to accredit 83 Vocational School programs to assess their compliance with defined standards, quality criteria, and performance indicators.

MEDEK’s Mission
To contribute to the improvement of education and teaching quality by providing information, external evaluation, and accreditation services for associate degree programs.
MEDEK’s Vision
To be a pioneering institution that performs quality certification by defining the education and research activities/administrative processes of associate degree programs, as well as the quality of intermediate human resources, in line with national and international standards and sharing the results with relevant institutions and organizations.

To lead the development of vocational professionals who follow professional advancements, respond to changing workforce needs, possess high-level professional skills and competencies, are innovative, socially responsible, take initiative, and meet the qualifications sought by the relevant sector.
