Admission Requirements

Candidates who have graduated from high school and obtain a YGS-3 score in the YGS exam conducted by ÖSYM, which meets the minimum score required for the department for that year, and who make their preferences within the specified dates, qualify for admission to the program.

Achievements of the Justice Program

Istanbul Gedik University School of Justice Vocational School aims to provide education in adherence to the fundamental values of the Republic of Turkey and in line with universal and contemporary legal principles, to facilitate the realization of justice in the country at all levels related to the field of law, and to produce individuals with a qualified legal knowledge, a legal background, advanced reasoning skills, an understanding of justice and rights, respect for human rights as required by a democratic and social state of law, and who can meet the need for qualified administrative personnel in both the public and private sectors.

For this purpose, the education provided is of a very high level, offering various training opportunities to enable graduates of the School of Justice Vocational School to continue their studies at Law Faculties if they meet the necessary requirements.

As part of the curriculum, students of the School of Justice Vocational School participate in a 30-day internship program to apply the knowledge and skills they have learned. Opportunities are provided for students of Istanbul Gedik University School of Justice Vocational School to intern at prestigious law firms nationwide. Additionally, events are organized through bilateral relations with Anadolu Judiciary to allow students to gain experience throughout their educational journey. Another opportunity is provided for some students to intern at the legal consultancy department within Gedik Holding.

Thus, through the mandatory internships during their education, students reinforce the knowledge they gain and integrate it with practical experience in both the judicial organization and law firms, enhancing their ability to apply their existing knowledge in various public and private fields.

Upon successfully completing the four semesters of education at the School of Justice Vocational School, students can take the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) and, upon achieving the necessary scores, can enter law faculties in Turkey. Istanbul Gedik University Law Faculty, with its esteemed faculty, collaborates with the School of Justice Vocational School to provide scholarships and numerous opportunities for students who aim to transfer to the faculty.

Graduates of the School of Justice Vocational School can work as court clerks, record clerks, enforcement directors, and prison directors within the Ministry of Justice. Moreover, they can find employment opportunities in the banking and finance sector, as well as in the legal departments of various public institutions and private organizations.

Students who successfully complete their associate degree education have the chance to transfer to a law faculty through the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS).
