Collaboration Protocol for The Conference on Managing Tourism Across Continents (MTCON) 2024, Led by the Tourism Academicians Association (TUADER) and in Partnership with Istanbul Gedik University 

A collaboration protocol has been signed for the The Conference on Managing Tourism Across Continents (MTCON) 2024, which will take place from May 1-4, 2024, under the leadership of the Tourism Academicians Association (TUADER) and the main partnership of Istanbul Gedik University. The signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kesik, Rector of Istanbul Gedik University, Prof. Dr. Muharrem Tuna, President of the Tourism Academicians Association, Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Barış Yalinkılıç, Head of the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, and Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Ela Nazlı Köz, a member of the organizing committee. The fifth edition of the intercontinental tourism management congress, which was attended by representatives from 54 countries in 2023, will be held in Istanbul this year. 


European Union Project: “Ingenuity Kitchen” (ICMPD/2022/ENHANCER-353-1222443 Code) 

In cooperation with Istanbul Gedik University and Sultanbeyli Municipality, the “Ingenuity Kitchen” project (ICMPD/2022/ENHANCER-353-1222443 Code) focuses on basic and advanced culinary training. This European Union project is being carried out in the professional kitchen located at the Halil Kaya Gedik Campus of Istanbul Gedik University. The training process is led by Doç. Dr. Nihan Yarmacı Güvenç, Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Barış Yalınkılıç, Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Ela Nazlı Köz, Arş. Gör. Seray Evren, Arş. Gör. Betül Oral, and Öğr. Gör. Sefa Sabırlı from the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts.
