ABOUT THE BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT

The aim of the Business Administration Department at the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences of Istanbul Gedik University is to equip students with contemporary techniques and methods related to business management through practical applications.

The Business Administration Program offers significant opportunities with the Faculty’s long-standing experience, its unique practical knowledge transferred from industry, and the quality of its academic staff.

The main objectives of the Business Administration Department are as follows:

  1. Quality Education: To provide students with a solid education in business management, finance, marketing, human resources, and other core areas.

The Business Administration Department trains its graduates to be innovative and effective individuals who can lead in the business world. In line with this goal, a strong Advisory Board composed of academic experts, industry leaders, private sector and public administrators, and successful businesspeople is formed in the department. This advisory board plays a critical role in ensuring that the educational content aligns with industry needs, enhancing the interaction of our students with the business world, and increasing graduates’ employment opportunities.

Our graduates enjoy a wide range of career opportunities and can find jobs in various sectors. The primary career paths for Business Administration graduates include:

  1. International Trade: Graduates can work in international trade transactions and export-import operations.
  2. Banking: They can take on various roles in banks, financial institutions, and investment firms.
  3. Customs Procedures: Graduates can specialize in customs processes and legal regulations in trade.
