Faculty member of our department, Asst. Prof. Osman Yılmazcan Osman Yılmazcan participated in the XIth Turkish Accounting Professionals Congress on ‘The Future of Sustainability and Accounting Practices’ organised by the Turkish Accounting Professionals Association on 10 May 2024.
· Our department faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Orkun Bayram attended The Climate Investment Summit 2024 conference held on 7 May 2024.
- The “Introduction to Business Life” event organized by Istanbul Gedik University Faculty of Economics, Administrative, and Social Sciences, Management Information Systems Department, and Career and Guidance Center was held on 13.04.2023 via Zoom with the presentation of Ezgi Aslan.
- The “Successful Interview: Before, During, and After” event organized by Istanbul Gedik University Faculty of Economics, Administrative, and Social Sciences, Management Information Systems Department, and Career and Guidance Center was held on 11.04.2023 via Zoom with the presentation of Gürhan Öztürk.
- The “Career Planning in Line with Life Purpose” event organized by Istanbul Gedik University Faculty of Economics, Administrative, and Social Sciences, Management Information Systems Department, and Career Center was held on 21.03.2023 via Zoom with the presentation of Zühal Yiğit.
- The “CV Preparation” event organized by Istanbul Gedik University Faculty of Economics, Administrative, and Social Sciences, Management Information Systems Department, and Career Center was held on 20.03.2023 via Zoom with the presentation of Dr. Asst. Prof. Ahmet Erkasap.
- On 22.02.2023, during our Career Days event organized for Kartal Semiha Şakir Anatolian High School students, we conducted our seminar titled “Department and Profession Introduction” as the Management Information Systems Department.
- On January 19, 2023, the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative, and Social Sciences (IISBF) and the academician of the Management Information Systems Department, Asst. Prof. Ahmet Erkasap, along with the participation of students from the Management Information Systems Department, conducted an intensive workshop day during the Coaching Development Summit.
- Our physical seminar conducted on December 16, 2022, aimed to introduce the Management Information Systems Department to the students of Fatih Okyanus College.
- On October 18, 2022, we held a physical seminar to introduce the Department of Management Information Systems to the students of Tuzla Tuğrulbey Anatolian High School.
- On July 24, 2022, Istanbul Gedik University Management Information Systems Department academicians Asst. Prof. Ümit Bozoklu and Asst. Prof. Ahmet Erkasap, academicians of Istanbul Gedik University Department of Management Information Systems, “Future Professions and Competencies for Future Managers” was held on Instagram live broadcast.
- On July 23, 2022, Istanbul Gedik University Management Information Systems Department academician Asst. Prof. Ahmet Erkasap, an academician from Istanbul Gedik University Management Information Systems Department, was held on Instagram live broadcast.
- The winners of the “Article and Project Idea Competition” organized by our university for high school students also attended our spring festival held on 26-27 May 2022 at our Pendik Campus. Our esteemed professors handed over their awards to young friends.
