GEDIK ROBOTICS TEAM

Gedik Robotics Team is a project team established within Istanbul Gedik University in 2016. Since its inception, our team has primarily focused on Unmanned Underwater Systems. We have showcased our projects in competitions such as TEKNOFEST, MATE ROV, and SSB Unmanned Underwater Vehicle Prototype Competition, earning awards and distinctions. Drawing from the knowledge and experience gained, our team has also expanded its efforts into various fields, including Artificial Intelligence in Transportation, Turkish Natural Language Processing, and Tourism Technologies.

ACHIEVEMENTS

• In 2017, Gedik Robotics Team became the 2nd in its first competition, MATE ROV TURKEY.
• In 2018, the team participated in the MATE ROV TURKEY competition and secured the 2nd place.
• In 2018, the team achieved 2nd place in the TEKNOFEST Unmanned Underwater Systems competition, marking its first appearance on the TEKNOFEST podium.
• In 2018, as a result of the Unmanned Underwater Vehicle Prototype Competition organized by the Turkish Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB), the team earned the 2nd place.
• In 2019, the team attained the 3rd place in the TEKNOFEST Unmanned Underwater Systems competition.
