Our Graduates

Hello, I’m Ahmet ANT,

I started my undergraduate education in the Industrial Engineering Department at Istanbul Gedik University in 2016 and completed my degree in 2020. Throughout my university education, I had a fulfilling academic journey with the guidance of our department professors, especially Prof. Nilüfer Çelikkol, Prof. Dilek Kurt, and many other valuable instructors who had a significant impact on our development.

Being the first industrial engineering students and graduates of our university filled us with excitement. In line with this excitement, we established the IGU Industrial Engineering Club to make our educational life more exciting, enjoyable, and knowledge-filled. Together with our club, we organized numerous technical trips, conferences, and social responsibility projects. These projects provided me with various personal development and management skills such as problem-solving in challenging situations, teamwork, decision-making under stress, and the importance of time management.

Currently, I am working as an SAP FI consultant at Felece Software Inc. I provide consultancy services to some of our country’s valuable and prominent large companies in the projects I am involved in. Every day, I continue to work, learn, and strive to improve myself. I now better understand the gains I achieved during my educational journey, and I express my gratitude to our university, our esteemed professors, and my friends at the Gedik Industrial Engineering Club for providing me with these opportunities.

To my fellow students who are studying or considering studying Industrial Engineering at IGU, I recommend that they advance in the fields that excite and make them happy, always be inquisitive and research-oriented, and be solution-oriented. I wish them success in their educational journey and careers.

I graduated from Istanbul Gedik University’s Industrial Engineering Department in 2021. Since 2021, I have been working as an assistant digital marketing specialist at one of Turkey’s leading retail companies. Throughout my university education, I actively participated in the activities of the Industrial Engineering Club and had the opportunity to be involved in organizational processes. I have seen the benefits of being part of these activities and the skills I gained in my professional life. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the faculty members of the Industrial Engineering Department for their unwavering support during all these processes and beyond.
