As emphasized in the 12th Development Plan, the development of high-tech products that are domestic and national is of great importance in reaching our sustainable development goals. In this context, training competent engineers in the field of Materials Science and Nanotechnology Engineering is essential to increasing our country’s technological production capacity.
With the rapid advancement of technology, the demand for new materials is growing, further highlighting the importance of expertise in this field and positioning the Department of Materials Science and Nanotechnology Engineering strategically. Our department, with its interdisciplinary structure that integrates advanced technology with academic education, offers its graduates a wide range of career opportunities both nationally and internationally.
Our students graduate with the qualifications to build careers in various sectors—from aerospace and defense to biomedical materials, from the energy sector to semiconductor and sensor technologies. They can also take active roles in production and development processes in R&D centers, quality control firms, and product design units.
