The Coaching Education Department is one of the four undergraduate programs in the Faculty of Sports Sciences. The duration of education is four years, and the language of instruction is Turkish. The aim of the department is to ensure that specialized sports educators (coaches) in various branches of team sports or individual sports become individuals who prioritize ethical rules, adopt the principle of safeguarding the health and safety of athletes, are capable of multidisciplinary work for top-level performance, can keep up with scientific and technological developments in their respective fields worldwide, can train athletes of all ages, and can conduct performance tests, talent selection, and guidance based on scientific foundations. It also aims to spread training and sports activities to the masses on scientific grounds. With its strong national and international experience, student-focused education, curriculum compatible with the European Union, comprehensive Practical-Theory course content, opportunities for education abroad through Erasmus, and double major opportunities, we welcome you to join us for a well-equipped coaching education.
