About Institute

In 21st century, studies that have been done on human health envisage not only the curing of diseases, but also the prevention of many health problems that affect the masses and also the sustainability of health in such a way as to maintain productivity throughout the length of a lifetime. Therefore, vocation groups that deal with health sciences place emphasis on an interdisciplinary approach in all the scientific studies that they perform and in all the services that they provide. In our present institute structure, masters and doctorate degree programs are available in the fields of Occupational Health and Safety, Movement and Training Sciences, Physical Education and Sports Teaching, Psycho-social Fields in Sport, Physical Activity for Disabled, Sport Management and Recreation, Sport and Health which are amongst the work areas of our Faculty of Sports Sciences and Faculty of Health Sciences. It is the objective of this institute to educate vocational specialists who can keep track of scientific developments, can implement activities that protect and improve the health of the public in his/her field, do research,  and can present these studies at scientific meetings.
