14.02.2023 – DECISIONS ABOUT THE FUNCTIONING OF COURSES

According to the statement made by the Council of Higher Education dated 11.02.2023 it was decided to/that:

  1. Continue online classes from 13.02.2023.
  2. Online courses are to be held via LMS and to be recorded.
  3. In case of lessons via Zoom, the records must be uploaded to the LMS system, and the Distance Education Centre Directorate must be informed.
  4. The courses are carried out in accordance with the announced curriculum.
  5. In online education, a lesson should be at least 30 minutes long.
  6. If the students watch the recording of the lesson, they meet the attendance condition.
  7. The academic calendar of the 2022-2023 academic year remains as previously announced, no changes are made.
  8. Graduate Education Institute will start the 2022-2023 academic year spring term online on 13.02.2023 as stated in the academic calendar.
  9. The courses given by the School of Foreign Languages and the Turkish Teaching Application and Research Centre will be conducted in line with the decision to be taken by their own boards.
  10. Make up for the courses that could not be held on 10.02.2023 within the term.
  11. The explanations on internship and applied courses are to be made by the Council of Higher Education later.
