About Distance Education
Dear Academic Staff Members and Students,
You can reach the Distance Education-Teaching System at https://ue.gedik.edu.tr website.
Logins to the system are the same as OBS username and password. If you have problem for accessing to the distance education system, you can create a support request at https://gebis.gedik.edu.tr/uzem website.
You can access current announcements, technical support and user guides (examples of practical materials and short training videos) about distance education at https://gebis.gedik.edu.tr/uzem website.
Distance Education courses are planned to be uploaded to the system by the academic staff giving the course on 30.03.2020. Lessons can be synchronous (online) or asynchronous (offline) in computer environment. If the lessons is to be synchronized, the day and hour of the lessons will be announced on your distance education system. Synchronous lectures can be held in different environments simultaneously with the instructor. You must attend the virtual lesson on the specified day and time. The registration of the synchronous courses will be uploaded to the system asynchronously. Students who fail to attend the lesson can watch the course registrations later. In addition, academic staff who do not make synchronous courses will upload their course materials to the system asynchronously. You can reach the lessons from https://ue.gedik.edu.tr website.
