DELEGATION FROM RIGA MEDICAL COLLEGE OF THE UNIVERSITY OF LATVIA VISITS OUR INSTITUTION UNDER ERASMUS+ MOBILITY

A delegation from Riga Medical College of the University of Latvia, including Deputy Director of Education Affairs Dr. Sarmīte Villere, Head of Emergency Care Department Dr. Aleksejs Višņakovs, and Assistant of Emergency Care Department Mr. Ģēnādijs Rusanovs, visited our institution under the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Training program.

During their visit, our guests first met with our esteemed professors at the Faculty of Health Sciences. They toured our laboratories and exchanged information about the health systems and health education of both countries. Subsequently, they visited Gedik Vocational School, where they met with the academic staff of our First and Emergency Aid Department, toured the school, and examined the laboratories. The final part of their visit included a tour of Lokman Hekim Hospital to observe the functioning of our country’s healthcare system.

This visit was a significant step towards enhancing international cooperation opportunities and fostering the exchange of knowledge and ideas in the field of healthcare. The productive discussions and examinations conducted with our guests have made valuable contributions to the quality of education and research at both institutions.

Such visits play a crucial role in achieving our goal of providing education at global standards, offering valuable experiences for our students and academic staff.
