Ilayda Onder, Assistant Specialist from Istanbul Gedik University’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Erasmus Coordination, represented Istanbul Gedik University by attending the Erasmus+/Alumni and Welcome to Finland Event organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Finland in Ankara.

Held on April 19, 2024, in Ankara, the event aimed to strengthen collaboration between Turkish and Finnish educational institutions and to provide opportunities for student exchange programs. Participants who had previously undertaken Erasmus programs in Finland shared their experiences, and the event aimed to introduce Finland to the Turkish-speaking world.
The event provided Turkish participants with the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge about Finland’s education system. This allowed them to have a closer understanding of the environment that facilitates international cooperation and student exchange programs among Turkish educational institutions.
Through this event, we hope to develop closer relations with Finland and create opportunities for collaboration.
