In Light of Our Participation in the EURIE 2024 Fair, as Istanbul Gedik University’s Office of International Affairs and Erasmus Coordinatorsip, an Online Meeting Was Convened to Explore Potential Collaboration Opportunities with the Grupo de Cooperação Internacional de Universidades Brasileiras (GCUB) of Brazil.

A meeting was held with the participation of Prof. Dr. Rossana de Souza Silva and Institution Coordinator Anna Leite on behalf of Grupo de Cooperação Internacional de Universidades Brasileiras (GCUB), and Erasmus Institution Coordinator Lecturer Yücel Kamar and Assistant Specialist İlayda Önder from the Office of International Affairs and Erasmus Coordinatorship of Istanbul Gedik University.

The meeting was conducted with the aim of evaluating the international cooperation and academic exchange opportunities of both institutions. The Office of International Relations and Erasmus Coordination of Istanbul Gedik University thoroughly discussed potential projects and areas of collaboration that could be conducted jointly with GCUB. Among these collaboration potentials are student exchange programs, joint research projects, faculty exchange, and capacity-building initiatives.

Through this meeting, the Office of International Relations and Erasmus Coordination of Istanbul Gedik University seized the opportunity to shape future collaboration projects with GCUB and to establish a stronger network of cooperation in the international arena. This step is regarded as a significant progress towards enhancing the university’s international presence and providing new opportunities for students and faculty members.
