WE HELD A COLLABORATION MEETING WITH UNIVERSITY SAINS MALAYSIA (USM)
On September 5, 2024, an online collaboration meeting was held between our university and the School of Distance Education at University Sains Malaysia (USM), one of Malaysia’s prominent and leading universities (ranked 2nd in Malaysia according to QS Rankings).
Representing our university were Lecturer Yücel Kamar, International Affairs Director and Erasmus+ Coordinator, Assnt. Prof. PhD Özgür Yurtsever (Faculty of Engineering); Assnt. Prof. PhD Ahmet Özcan (Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences); Assnt. Prof. PhD Ümit Bozoklu (Graduate Studies Institute); and Ms. Sena Gürbüz (Technology Transfer Office).
Representing USM were Assoc. Prof. PhD. Zulnaidi Yaacob (Dean of the School of Distance Education); Assoc. Prof. PhD. See Kok Fong (Deputy Dean of Research, Innovation, and Industry Relations); Chua Hang Kuen (Deputy Dean of Technology and Learning Support Services); Mohd. Rashid Abdul Rejab (Deputy Dean of Student Affairs); Norhanishah Binti Mohamad Yunus PhD (Head of the Department of Economics); Radziah Adam (Faculty member of the Department of Economics); Zarina Binti Md Nor Phd (Coordinator of Vocational Education Accreditation); Siti Soraya Lin Binti Abdullah Kamal PhD (Program Coordinator of the School of Distance Education); and Lee Siu Ming PhD (Faculty member of the Department of Economics).
The meeting included presentations and speeches from the participating units, and an agreement was reached on the development of collaborative efforts.
