We Participated in the WAM 2024 Conference as the International Relations and Erasmus Coordination Office

The WAM 2024 International Hybrid Conference and Exhibition was organized by Istanbul Gedik University on November 21-22, 2024. The conference aimed to bring together scientists, engineers, and students working in the fields of advanced welding and metal additive manufacturing (MAM) technologies. This event, which included speakers and participants from various parts of the world, provided an opportunity for participants to share the latest technologies used in their research projects and industrial applications.

This year’s conference focused on the latest developments in welding technologies and manufacturing processes, highlighting innovative solutions for the industry on a global scale. The conference served as an important platform for Istanbul Gedik University to strengthen its international collaborations and promote its educational and research activities globally.

Representatives from our university, Institutional Coordinator Lecturer Yücel Kamar and İlayda Önder from the International Relations and Erasmus+ Coordination Office, attended the event, making significant strides in expanding our international collaboration network. Participants had the opportunity to learn about new opportunities, particularly in the context of Erasmus+ and other international projects, and to network with professionals in the field.
