A Memorandum of Understanding Was Signed Between Istanbul Gedik University and the Vocational Training Center of the Economic Zones Development Agency (EZDA) of Azerbaijan
Istanbul Gedik University had the honor of hosting representatives from the Vocational Training Center of the Economic Zones Development Agency (EZDA), which provides vocational training to address the workforce needs in Azerbaijan’s industrial zones, on April 24–25.
During the visit, Kanan Baghirov (Director of Vocational Education Center), Javid Ahmadov (Senior Specialist of the Training Organization Department), Rashad Asgarli (Director of the Human Resources and Document Affairs Department), and Elshan Umudov (Chief of the Project Technical Industrial Department) toured Istanbul Gedik University’s Kartal Campus, Gedik Test Center, Gedik Welding and Gedik Advanced Casting factories and R&D unit in Hendek on the first day. On April 25, they visited Teknopark Istanbul, Gedik Vocational School, and Halil Kaya Gedik Campus.
At the end of the program, a Memorandum of Understanding was formally signed at our Kartal Campus between Istanbul Gedik University and EZDA.
This protocol aims to explore and develop potential collaboration areas between the two institutions in fields such as employment, education, vocational development, joint curriculum design, short-term training programs, and joint events.
