Istanbul GEDİK Unıversıty 2022-2023 Academıc Year Graduate Educatıon Instıtute Openıng Ceremony was held at Kartal CAmpus Conference Hall on Tuesday

The graduation ceremony commenced with a minute’s silence, followed by the national anthem.

The opening speeches of the ceremony was done by Istanbul GEDİK University Rector Prof.Dr. Ahmet Kesik and Chairwoman of Board of Trustees Hülya GEDİK

After the opening speeches Trinity Laban Music and Dance Conservatory Piano Faculty Member, Pianist-Instructor Can Çakmur attended the ceremony with the opening lecture on “The Evolving Role of Art in the Mechanized World: The Philosophical and Sociological Perspective”.

Pianist and Academician Can Çakmur, talked about the difficulties and importance of Art in a Mechanized World. He mentioned that “People feel ‘human’ through art. Artists do not save the world, but they remind with their “art” that the world can be a better place.
