ISTANBUL GEDIK UNIVERSITY AND MINGACHEVIR STATE UNIVERSITY HELD A JOINT CONFERENCE ON THE 2nd ANNIVERSARY OF THE KARABAKH VICTORY

On November 7, 2022, The conference was held with the cooperation of Istanbul Gedik University and Mingachevir State University about the 2nd anniversary of the Karabakh Victory, which ended the 30-year occupation of Armenia and restored Azerbaijan to its former lands.

Opening speeches were made by Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kesik and Mingachevir State University Rector Dr. By Şahin Bayramov. 4 speakers from both universities gave important information about the meaning and importance of Victory Day in the organization chaired by Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kesik.

Interesting reports were heard on the historical, legal, political and economic dimensions of the great victory in joint event where the joy of historical victory is shared.

Azerbaijan-Turkey brotherhood was underlined. It was brought to the attention of the whole world that the 44-day Patriotic War showed the strength of the Turks. At the end of the event, we wished mercy to our martyrs and healing to our veterans. It was agreed to celebrate the Future Victory Days in Istanbul and Mingachevir.
