V. ICTACSE CONFERENCE ON ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE WHICH HOSTED BY ISTANBUL GEDIK UNIVERSITY WAS HELD
The 5th International Conference on Theoretical and Applied Computer Science and Engineering 2022 (ICTACSE 22) started with İstanbul GEDİK University’s Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kesik’s opening speech.
Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kesik mentioned the importance of science and technology today and stated that they act with the motivation to carry out pioneering works in all fields of science.
In the congress, the most studied topics in the world, where new technologies based on computer systems such as artificial neural networks, semantic learning, medical signal optimizations, radiation oncology treatment diagnostic studies will be discussed.
Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kesik said that “ clearly, the solution lies in providing a solid and productive education at all levels, from primary education of how is critical and can be perceived very differently. The point we have reached shows that it will not be the traditional way ( with rote and memory- based conditioning) that paves the way for one-sided thoughts (and seems to be very effective in manaing the masses). The important thing is to raise generations who are be able to doubt, question and judge the ideas and arguments presented to them, including the field of science, and most importantly, who can solve problems with creative thoughts.” related to scientific thinking, inquiry and traditional education.
Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kesik best wishes about conference to contribute to both scientists and the field of computer science and engineering and he left the stage to ICTACSE Chairman Assoc. Prof. Gazi Erkan Bostancı.
After the opening speeches, the President of ICTACSE presented a plaque to our Rector for her contributions.
