WE HOSTED A DISTINGUISHED DELEGATION FROM UNIVERSITIES IN INDIA AT OUR UNIVERSITY.
Istanbul Gedik University hosted a distinguished academic delegation from India. The delegation included Dr. Anjum Aggarwal, Vice Rector of DBS Global University, Dr. Raju Ch. V. Voleti, Dean of International Relations at Invertis University, Prof. Dr. Subrahmanya Ranjit Pasupuleti, Dean of International Relations at Aditya University, Sandeep Kumar Samala, Deputy Manager of Mobility Programmes, Partnerships & SAP International Relations & Higher Studies at SRM University AP, and Ms. Sultana Khan, Founder and CEO of Unteched Private Limited.
During the meeting, the visiting scholars and administrators introduced their universities and exchanged ideas on academic collaborations and international projects. Potential partnerships were discussed in areas such as education, research, exchange programs, and joint projects.
Representing Istanbul Gedik University at the meeting were Yücel Kamar, International Relations Director and Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator, and İlayda Önder, Assistant Specialist, along with Dr. Metin Toptaş from the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, Dr. Pegah Mutlu from the Faculty of Engineering, Antonina Nemtinova, Director of the School of Foreign Languages, Dr. Onur Tütüncü from the Faculty of Sports Sciences, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Deniz Akçay Balcı and Dr. Sevda Duygu Kolbay from the Faculty of Interior Architecture and Design, Research Assnt. Fatma Toksöz
from the Faculty of Health Sciences, Dr. Burcu Erbayraktar from the Faculty of Law, and Rabia Yağmur Aksoy and Hüseyin Yavaş from the Technology Transfer Office.
At the end of the meeting, cooperation agreements (MoUs) were signed between our university and the guest institutions with the participation of our esteemed Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kesik.
We believe that this visit marks an important step in strengthening academic relations between our universities and in implementing joint projects in the future.
