“Failure of Democracy-Promotion Policies: The Case of Georgia and Ukraine”

Latest activity organized by International Relations Department was the presentation made by Assist. Prof. Lamia Mammadova, titled as “Failure of Democracy Encouragement Policies: Cases of Georgia and Ukraine”. Attracting heavy attention, the presentation addressed the color revolutions that took place in these two countries in early 2000’s, as well as the reasons why they couldn’t establish democratic institutions.
