The project titled “Shaping Business Strategies with Digital Intelligence” has been granted support under the 2023 second term of the TÜBİTAK 2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program, managed by TÜBİTAK Scientist Support Programs Presidency (BIDEB).
Digital Intelligence is not merely a technological advancement but also a transformative tool with the potential to redefine business strategies and operational methods. It enables organizations to make faster and more informed decisions, personalize customer experiences, and gain a competitive advantage. However, the impact of Digital Intelligence on business strategies remains an underexplored and insufficiently understood area, particularly in the context of Turkey.
This project aims to better understand the effects of Digital Intelligence on business strategies, identify gaps in existing literature, and contribute to academic knowledge in this field. Before providing specific recommendations for the Turkish business environment, the project will focus on addressing the deficiencies in the current literature.
The project will examine the various dimensions of Digital Intelligence (DQ), including:
- Cognitive Intelligence (IQ)
- Emotional Intelligence (EQ)
- Spiritual Intelligence (SQ)
- Cultural Intelligence (CQ)
- Adaptability Quotient (AQ)
It will investigate how these dimensions can be integrated with business strategies and analyze their impact on organizational performance.
Original Contribution of the Research
The originality of the research lies in its exploration of the under-researched impact of Digital Intelligence on business strategies in Turkey and its provision of a new perspective on the subject. Additionally, by linking the various dimensions of Digital Intelligence with business strategies, the study aims to offer insights tailored to Turkish enterprises, contributing to their digital transformation processes.
A qualitative research approach, primarily literature review, is employed to understand the impact of Digital Intelligence on business strategies. The study plans to first identify gaps through literature review and case studies and then analyze the role of Digital Intelligence in the business world.
This project aspires to enhance understanding of how Digital Intelligence can support decision-making, drive innovation, and foster competitive advantages in Turkish businesses.
