WE HOSTED MR. ERDAL ŞÖLEN, EXECUTIVE BOARD MEMBER AND CFO OF DESTEK PATENT A.Ş., AT AN EXTRACURRICULAR EVENT

On May 30, 2024, Istanbul Gedik University’s Vocational School, Foreign Trade English Program hosted Mr. Erdal Şölen, Executive Board Member and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Destek Patent A.Ş., at an extracurricular event held in the Conference Hall of Block B at the Kartal Campus.

During the session moderated by Lecturer Yücel Kamar, Head of the Foreign Trade English Program, Mr. Şölen shared his insights on several topics, including the financial structure of export companies, the role of exports in the national economy, service exports, common issues faced in exports, possible solutions to these problems, and how Turkey’s export structure should be. Additionally, Mr. Şölen provided valuable tips for students’ career journeys by sharing stories from his personal career.

The talk, which was attended by Assnt. Prof. Dr. Jülide Andiç and students from the Foreign Trade English Program as well as many students from various programs across the university, concluded with Dr. Kamar presenting a plaque to Mr. Şölen.
