Transfer Discount:

ÖSYM scholarships and discounts and the discounts made by the University are maintained at the same rate for students who transfer within the University.
The ÖSYS-YKS scores of the students who make inter-institutional transfer or transfer with the Central Placement Score in the year they enroll in our University, provided that they do not exceed the full scholarship quota in our University in that year, scholarships and discounts are made at the rate that corresponds to the scholarship and discount rate, and no other discounts are made other than these. A 50% discount is applied for students whose ÖSYS-YKS score corresponds to a 25% or paid program and for students who transfer to departments that admit students through special talent exams.
The discounts applied to all students enrolled by transfer are valid for the duration of the normal education period starting from the class and semester in which the students are adjusted, including the year of enrollment in the associate degree and undergraduate program.
No discount is applied to students from abroad (except Cyprus) who will be admitted to our University by transfer according to their success points.

Required Documents for Application

  • Student Certificate (Newly Dated) (E-Devlet printout, e-signed or approved) (The date of enrollment must include the day, month and year)
  • Transcript (E-Devlet printout, E-Signed or certified)
  • Disciplinary Status Certificate (Newly Dated) (E-Signed or approved) (can be included in Transcript or Student Document)

  • ÖSYS Result Certificate and Placement Certificate
  • Identity Card or Passport
  • For students applying from Secondary Education to Regular Education, a document indicating that they are in the top 10% (Valid for Success-Based Transfer)
  • Certificate of Recognition by YÖK (For applicants from universities abroad)
  • For candidates applying from abroad, passport and police records showing their entry and exit to and from the relevant country.
  • For candidates applying from abroad, the Turkish translation of their documents certified by a notary public or Turkish foreign representative offices.

  • Original and photocopy of ID Card or passport
  • Document indicating entry into the top 10% for students applying from Second Education to Formal Education (Valid for Achievement-Based Lateral Transfer.) (original of the document with e-signature or certification)
  • Recognition Certificate by the Council of Higher Education (For Applicants from Foreign Universities)
  • Passport and security records showing the entry and exit to the relevant country for candidates applying from abroad. (E-Devlet printout)
  • Candidates applying from abroad must present the originals of their documents along with a notarized or certified translation into Turkish.
  • Foreign Language Proficiency Certificate (For Departments Conducting Education in Foreign Language)
  • 1 Photograph (Taken within the last 6 months)

Candidates who have been accepted to the Civil Aviation and Cabin Services Program must obtain a health report from health institutions authorized by the Director General of Civil Aviation, stating that their health condition is “suitable for flight.”

Candidates who have been accepted to the Underwater Technology Program must obtain a health report from Maritime and Underwater Medicine clinics (from any university, state, or private healthcare institution) containing the statement “Eligible for First-Class Industrial Diver,” along with a Pressure Chamber and Underwater physician.

The originals of the documents submitted during final registration will be requested from you. If it is understood that the documents and information provided by students who have completed the final registration are incorrect, their relationship with the Higher Education Institution will be terminated from the moment it is detected, regardless of which semester it is. If such students have already left Higher Education Institutions, all documents given to them (including diplomas) will be canceled, and legal action will be taken against them.

As per the changes made in the Regulation Regarding Transfer between Associate’s and Bachelor’s Degree Programs, Double Major, Minor, and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer in Higher Education Institutions, for the evaluation of applications made for horizontal transitions, excluding horizontal transfers (according to Additional Article-1) with the Central Placement Score, the following formulas will be used.

Institutional Horizontal Transfer

The evaluation score used for institutional horizontal transfer is calculated with the following formula:

Evaluation score = [Candidate’s Placement Score x 0.40] + [Candidate’s 100-point General Grade Average x 0.60]

Horizontal transfer between institutions

  1. The evaluation score used for horizontal transfer is calculated with the following formula:

  1. The evaluation score used for horizontal transfer in diploma programs that admit students through special talent exams is calculated with the following formula:

International Transfer

  1. For candidates who have enrolled in higher education institutions abroad other than ÖSYM, the evaluation score for inter-country horizontal transfer applications is calculated as follows:

Evaluation score = [Base score of the desired program in the relevant year x 0.40] + [Candidate’s 100-point General Grade Average x 0.60]
