Our Technology Transfer Office was established on 21 August 2019 to facilitate the commercialization of knowledge and technology produced at Istanbul Gedik University by transforming it into practical applications. It aims to foster collaboration between the university and industry, enhance existing partnerships, support the generation of industry-relevant knowledge and technology at the university, promote new project ideas and funding opportunities, manage patent and utility model applications, and contribute to the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
As Istanbul Gedik University’s Technology Transfer Office, we strive to be the bridge between academia and industry, with support from Gedik Holding, TÜBİTAK, KOSGEB, and İSTKA, to address society’s needs by providing the scientific knowledge essential for industrial production and enabling the realization of new scientific breakthroughs In this context, we say to everyone, whether they are undergraduate students or academics at our university or individuals outside our university looking to venture into entrepreneurship, “Those with ideas, come to us.” Recognizing the importance of practical instruction in the production of scientific knowledge, our Technology Transfer Office also commits to delivering experiential education in projects funded by TÜBİTAK, Erasmus, and the European Union from early education through lifelong learning.
