Paragliding Experience in Outdoor Sports Class

As part of the Outdoor Sports course conducted at Istanbul Gedik University Faculty of Sports Sciences, Erdem Mustafa Uzun and Samet Karagöz, founders and instructors of the Kadıköy Air Sports Club, were invited as guest speakers. The event, organized under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Şeval Kayğusuz, provided students with a hands-on introduction to ground training in paragliding. Paragliding equipment, take-off techniques, and basic knowledge about air sports were shared with the students under the guidance of the instructors. The event offered students a valuable opportunity to explore a different branch of outdoor sports through direct experience.
