1001-UDAP Earthquake Research Program Joint Call Open!
Dear Researchers,
There is a need for cooperation across all disciplines to reduce the destructive effects of earthquakes, which involves the identification, guidance, and creation of societal earthquake awareness to formulate strategies for reducing earthquake risks.
In this regard, TÜBİTAK and AFAD have planned a joint earthquake call with a co-financing model, and a special call under the “1001-UDAP National Earthquake Research Program Joint Call” has been opened in accordance with the collaboration protocol signed between the two institutions.
The call will support project proposals submitted under the following Priority R&D and Innovation Topics:
- Geodynamic Research and Socio-Economic, Social, and Environmental Widespread Effects of Earthquakes
- Digital Technologies and Devices for Earthquake Preparedness
- Construction Models and Waste Management for Earthquake Resistance
- Scenario, Prediction, and Analysis Studies for Earthquake Management
The deadline for completing online applications is April 1, 2024, 23:59, and the deadline for the electronic signature of completed applications is April 4, 2024, 23:59.
