TÜBİTAK 1001-Sport Research Call Announced!

Dear Researchers,

As highlighted in the Twelfth Development Plan, Türkiye’s primary goals in the field of sports include the early inclusion of individuals with athletic abilities into talent pools, improving the qualifications of sports professionals, achieving global competitiveness in all sports disciplines to succeed in international competitions, and promoting a sports culture that becomes a way of life for society through a widespread understanding of sport for all.

In this context, it is crucial to conduct high-quality scientific research with inclusive approaches that address the challenges faced in sports activities, go beyond traditional focus areas, and contribute to enhancing Türkiye ‘s global competitiveness. These efforts should integrate scientific results from current technologies and academic work into the development of Turkish sports.

Therefore, under the cooperation protocol between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Industry and Technology, TÜBİTAK has decided to open a special call titled “Sport Research” under the “1001-Scientific and Technological Research Projects Support Program.”
