TÜBİTAK 2244 Industry PhD Program Open for Applications

As part of Türkiye’s 2023 priority area goals, the Industry PhD Program has been launched to cultivate a qualified human resource with a PhD in collaboration with universities and industry. The program opened for applications on July 9, 2018.

Applications for the Industry PhD Program can be made in collaboration with state or private universities providing doctoral education, along with private sector organizations. Private sector entities include R&D/design centers and capital companies within technoparks, as defined by Law No. 5746.

Program Details:

• Scholarships for PhD Students:
  • Full Scholarship: 4500 TL/month
  • Partial Scholarship: 800 TL/month
  • Scholarship Duration: Up to 5 years
• Project Incentive for Universities:
  • Project Manager: 600 TL/month
  • Academic Advisors: 300 TL/month per student
• Employment Support for Private Sector Organizations:
  • Employment support of 40-60% for the scholar after graduation (up to 3 years).
