Kurumsal sürdürülebilirlik, işletmelerin uzun vadeli finansal başarılarının korunması ve güçlendirilmesi açısından kritik bir rol oynamaktadır. Bu nedenle, finansal performans ile sürdürülebilirlik arasındaki ilişki, işletmelerin ekonomik kazanç elde etmeyi hedefleyen stratejilere odaklanmasının yanında, çevre ve sosyal sorumluluk konularını da içeren sürdürülebilirlik stratejilerine de odaklanmasını gerektirmektedir (Clark vd., 2015). Bu çalışmada, kurumsal sürdürülebilirlik ve finansal performans arasındaki ilişki ele alınarak, işletmeler bağlamında bu ilişkinin nasıl yönetilmesi gerektiği çok yönlü olarak tartışılacaktır.
